Disaster Lesson Plans
There are 10 disaster lesson plans that have been designed for teachers and educators.
For Teachers:
Each lesson plan details the Key Learning Areas (KLA’s) and Objectives for each of the disaster activities and also includes an Assessment Guide.
Lessons can be modified to incorporate other KLAs and to meet the needs of the students and specific content taught.
For students:
Each of the lesson plans challenge students to explore more about disasters by asking them to 'Get the Facts' and then 'Take Time to Investigate'.
